I am working on a blogpost about three high-schoolers in Santa Cruz County of very different ethnic and class backgrounds who have all been hurt by standardized testing. I am planning to post it soon. It is mostly first person accounts by the three. Very compelling to hear students’ voices on this subject. I have just started my blog which focuses on education in Santa Cruz County. I wrote one piece on Ocean Grove Charter school , a little known private charter chain that operates a ‘school’ here in S.C. County. I spent a lot of time researching this.
